Salsa Solo (Fridays): a stylish and graceful dance style for everyone — from zero to hero. It builds coordination, flexibility, and the connection between body, mind, and soul.

- You are not Latino, and you wonder if this is for you. Yes, it is.
It’s not for you if:
- You want a competitive dance team or exam training — we teach social dancing, for real life, not for competition.
- You want to watch from the side. Everyone dances here, from the first minute.
- You are looking for the cheapest class in Louisville. We are not the cheapest — we are the room where you belong.
Before your first class

“I don’t know how to dance.” Good. That is exactly why you are here. Nobody here started knowing how to dance.
No one laughs here
Nobody laughs at a beginner in this room. Partners rotate, Dianma teaches every class step by step, and you are welcome exactly as you are. All ages, all bodies, all levels. No partner needed.
This is a community, not only a dance studio
You come for the dance and you stay for the people. You meet people, you belong somewhere, and the room gets to know you.

Myths about Latin dance studios
We hear these every week. They are funny, and they are all wrong.
You need to know how to dance to join a dance class.
Truth: that is like saying you need to know how to swim to take swimming lessons. Everyone here started at zero, Dianma teaches step by step, and your first class is free.
Everyone will watch you and laugh.
Truth: nobody is watching you. Everyone is too busy counting their own steps and trying not to step on their partner. And in this room, nobody laughs at a beginner. Ever.
You need a partner.
Truth: no partner, no problem. We rotate partners so you dance with everyone, and solo classes need nobody at all. Come alone, leave with friends.
Latin dance is only for young people, people who are already fit, or people from Latin America.
Truth: our room has all ages, all bodies, and people from everywhere. If you love Latin music, you already belong here.

Yes, we are a Latin dance studio. No, we are not only for Latinos. Our room speaks English and Spanish, and it welcomes every culture. You do not have to be Latino to love Latin music, and you do not have to speak Spanish to belong here. We are here to dance together and to get to know each other’s cultures. That is what makes this room different from any other studio in Louisville.

Lead instructor — she teaches every class
Dianma Marín is the heart of CLOO Latin Dance Studio. She leads salsa, bachata, reparto, and kids urban dance — every class, every week — with warmth, patience, and the kind of energy that makes a room light up.
Her classes are designed so learning feels enjoyable, dynamic, and rewarding, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced dancer.

No. We have groups for all levels, and solo classes are open to all levels. Come to a trial class — it is never too late to start.
Your first class is free. Feel It Out is $45 for 3 classes, Getting Into It is $60 for 5, In The Rhythm is $110 for 10, and Unlimited is $49 the first month, then $129 per month — all plus Kentucky tax. Packages are good for 3 months.

Comfortable clothes and shoes. Solo classes are more intense, so sportswear helps. Please change into clean shoes to keep the studio floor clean.
